Remembering The Hike To Arenal Volcano

The evening was very warm when the van picked me up at my hotel in the village of La Fortuna.
We were headed to hike the beautiful rainforest which surrounds the huge volcano of Arenal.
Once we arrived to start the hike the weather was much cooler. I was surrounded by large trees and beautiful plants. As the hike began I could see many different types of insects, one of which was a small orange frog, his skin was very shinny. Also I was surrounded by many different types of birds. The group was going very slow, as there was much to see and we were moving very quietly, so not to disturb any of the animals or insects whose homes we were invading.
After 2 hours, we made our way to see the beautiful Arenal Volcano. We arrived at the side of the volcano which is the active. I was so close to this black piece of rock that I could see the red rocks tumbling down its side. This was one of the most exciting things that I have ever experienced.

What I learned there in the Wilderness of Costa Rica

The nine days I spent there in the rainforest of Costa Rica is what really opened my soul to the real truth. For me the real truth is forever embedded in the Universe.
I call this force the Universe, others call it by their own personal names.
For me it is the force that is in control of everything good and everything bad.
I believe that for someone to reach the peace which is their right, one must always be
looking to help or give something back to the universe. Some call this Karma, I call
it keeping your good deeds ahead of your bad deeds. Some might question this.
I believe that the universe is always showing us the path that it wants for us to follow.
Things we learned or did many years ago, now is aiding us in our current journey, if
we are willing to really look back in our past and see how the universe was paving our way.

I welcome any comments of what you believe on this subject.

Finding time to explore nature

I know not everyone has to go to Costa Rica to explore beautiful nature, but for me it is not only the nature, but the people that live in this country.

When I travel to any country, I get with the culture. I ride the buses, stroll the markets, speak their language( I have learned very much Spanish), which allows me to be able to say more than Hello, How are you today?

The peace that I found exploring this country eight years ago has stayed with me. My first trip was to the rainforest. I traveled alone and was with nature for 9 days. This experience changed my life. I returned a different person and never reverted back. I spent my days in meditation and yoga. Searching for my purpose, asking the universe for direction and listening for any signs to lead my path. I must say that what I learned there alone in the rainforest has changed my life forever. I still use the tools that I was shown. I will share these with you as my story unfolds.
